Preparing for PMP exam is a challenging job. Most of the time we are confused about the right approach for the exam. We keep on discussing and searching for the right approach. The challenge is to find the right kind of books, articles or test papers for the preparation. Although we can keep on reading all the possible available resources, but time and our commitment to other tasks do not give us the bandwidth to do this.

Framework Tips
Keep in mind the well defined framework of PMBOK. It has clearly structured the framework as follows:
1) The five process groups
2) The Nine knowledge areas
3) The Project Management processes. Each knowledge area contains some processes. And each process falls in one of the five process groups
Note: While doing preparation of exam we need to remember what is the significance of each and every component process. Each process has:
a) Inputs – which are used to plan, manage, execute, control or close the project.
b) Tools and techniques – which help in taking all the desired actions during the process phase.
c) Outputs - are the outcomes of the process.
Note: These outcomes are not the final results of the process. Some of the Outputs lead to the inputs of some other process in the same or different knowledge areas.
